Propuesta de guía para buenas prácticas de sostenibilidad en hoteles

Abstract

[Español] El objetivo principal de la investigación es determinar una guía de cómo deberían de ser las buenas prácticas ambientales para que los hoteles puedan implementar y poder preservar el ambiente que rodea al hotel. Es de importancia contribuir en mejorar la relación, el compromiso y el deber de cuidar el medio ambiente a cualquier hotel, tomando en cuenta que la concientización de los colaboradores y los huéspedes es de suma importancia para lograr los objetivos sostenibles establecidos por el hotel. En este trabajo de investigación se van a estar mostrando los resultados de la investigación realizada de las buenas prácticas ambientales para hoteles, su importancia y beneficios por los cuales los hoteles tienen que llevar una buena relación con su medio ambiente para obtener una mejor imagen hacia los medios y clientes. La sostenibilidad tiene en cuenta lo social, lo económico, lo ambiental y lo cultural por los cuales son factores importantes para llegar a ser un establecimiento sostenible y disminuir el impacto ambiental causado por las malas prácticas que llevan la mayoría de los hoteles, ya que es fácil decir que van a implementar buenas prácticas, pero lo difícil es hacerlo real y mantenerlas en el transcurso del tiempo.

[English] The main objective of the research is to determine or know what good environmental practices that hotels can implement should be in order to preserve the environment that surrounds the hotel and contribute to improving the relationship, commitment and duty to care for the environment to any hotel, taking into account that the awareness of employees and guests is of the utmost importance to achieve the sustainable objectives established by the hotel. In this research work, good practices for the implementation of sustainable tourism for hotels will be shown, its importance and benefits, for which hotels have to have a good relationship with their environment to obtain a better image towards the media and clients. Sustainability takes into account the social, economic, environmental and cultural aspects, which are important factors to become a sustainable place and reduce the environmental impact caused by bad environmental practices carried out by most hotels, since It is easy to say that they are going to implement good practices, but the difficult thing is to make it real and maintain them over time.
