[Español] El presente proyecto aborda la brecha en educación financiera que enfrentan los músicos del Distrito Nacional, quienes operan en contextos de informalidad, pluriempleo e ingresos inestables dentro de la Economía Naranja dominicana. Esta realidad limita la sostenibilidad de sus carreras y refuerza dinámicas de precarización laboral. El estudio tiene como objetivo elaborar un plan de formación modular en finanzas personales que fortalezca sus capacidades de planificación, organización de recursos y proyección profesional. Se adopta un enfoque cualitativo mediante un estudio de caso con elementos de investigación acción participativa. Se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas a músicos de diversas trayectorias, complementadas con revisión bibliográfica y análisis de iniciativas formativas y políticas públicas relacionadas con la educación f financiera y la economía creativa. Los resultados revelan carencias sistemáticas en alfabetización financiera, improvisación en la fijación de tarifas y administración del ingreso, así como la normalización de la precariedad. También se evidencia una disposición favorable hacia programas de formación adaptados a la realidad del sector. En respuesta, se diseña “FinanciARTE”, un modelo conceptual de curso virtual, modular y principalmente asincrónico, fundamentado en la andragogía y compuesto de contenidos financieros, estratégicos, de autogestión digital y de bienestar. Se concluye que este programa puede mejorar la autonomía económica y la sostenibilidad profesional de los músicos, además de servir como modelo replicable para otros subsectores culturales del país.
[English] This project addresses the financial education gap faced by musicians in the Distrito Nacional (National District), who operate in contexts of informality, multiple jobs, and unstable incomes within the dominican Orange Economy. This reality limits the sustainability of their careers and reinforces dynamics of job insecurity. The study aims to develop a modular training plan in personal finance that strengthens their planning, resource organization, and professional projection skills. A qualitative approach is adopted through a case study with elements of participatory action research. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with musicians from diverse backgrounds, complemented by a literary review and analysis of initiatives and public policies related to financial education and the creative economy. The results reveal systematic gaps in financial literacy, improvisation in setting rates and managing income, and the normalization of precariousness. There is also evidence of a favorable disposition toward training programs adapted to the reality of the sector. In response, "FinanciARTE" was designed, a conceptual model for a virtual, modular, and primarily asynchronous course based on andragogy and composed of financial, strategic, digital self-management, and wellness content. It was concluded that this program can improve the economic autonomy and professional sustainability of musicians, as well as serve as a replicable model for other cultural subsectors in the country.
