Nivel de adherencia al tratamiento antirretroviral de gran actividad de los pacientes de 18 a 65 años que asisten al servicio de atención integral del Hospital General Dr. Vinicio Calventi, período marzo-junio 2022

Abstract

[Español] Con el objetivo de determinar nivel de adherencia al tratamiento antirretroviral de gran actividad de los pacientes de 18 a 65 años que asisten al Servicio de Atención Integral del Hospital General Dr. Vinicio Calventi periodo marzo-junio 2022, se realizó un estudio descriptivo y observacional. El universo estuvo conformado por todos los pacientes con tratamiento antirretroviral de gran actividad que asisten al Hospital General Dr. Vinicio Calventi. La muestra estuvo conformada por 90 pacientes, donde se encontraron los siguientes resultados: El sexo femenino fue el más frecuente con el 55.0%, frente al masculino con un 45.0%. El rango de edad más frecuente fue el de 35 a 44 años con el 35.0%, seguido del rango de edad de 45 a 55 años con el 32.5%. El nivel de educación fue básico en el 77.5%. El 75.0% indicó que trabaja frente al 25.0% que no. El 100.0% indicó que no estudio. El diagnóstico fue recibido en 1-5 años con el 45.0%, a menos de 1 año el 25.0%. El tratamiento fue de 1-5 años en el 45.0%, menos de 1 año en el 22.5%. El conteo de CD4 fue normal en el 25.0%, en recuperación en el 60.0%. La carga viral fue detectable en el 32.5% y no detectable en el 67.5%. Hubo uso de antirretrovirales en el 100.0%. El 100.0% indicó tener efectos adversos. El 77.5% indicó nunca faltar a una cita, y el 22.5% que faltado entre 1 a 5 citas. El 85.5% expresó que nunca ha olvidado el tratamiento, el 10.0% entre 1 a 5 veces, de 6 a 10 veces 2.5% y más de 10 veces 2.5%. El 87.5% indicó no haber abandonado el tratamiento el 12.5% que sí. Ante la interrogante a las personas que abandonaron el tratamiento el 100.0% expresó otras causas. Los hábitos tóxicos de la población fue alcohol en el 27.5% y tabaco en el 2.5%. El 77.5% expresó tener apoyo familiar frente a 22.5% que no. El 95.0% indicó no haber olvidado la medicación. El 92.5% expresó que siempre lo toma a la hora indicada. El 95.0% dijo que, aunque se sienta mal, no deja de tomar el medicamento. El 90.0% expresó que no ha olvidado tomar el medicamento durante el fin de semana. El 7.5% indicó que 3 días sin tomar la medicación. En cuanto a la terapia el 62.5% indicó la combinación de antirretrovirales de Tenofovir, Emtricitabina + dolutegrapin, 7.5% Tenofovir, lamividina, efavirenz y 7.5% no específica. En conclusión, la mayoría de los pacientes son adherentes al tratamiento, sin embargo, se necesita trabajar aquellos que no e incentivar que sigan en este comportamiento.

[English] With the objective of determining adherence to antiretroviral treatment of great activity of patients from 18 to 65 years attending the Comprehensive Care Service of the General Hospital Dr. Vinicio Calventi March-June 2022 period, a descriptive and observational study was carried out. The Universe was made up of all patients with great activity antiretroviral treatment attending the General Dr. Vinicio Calventi Hospital. The sample was made up of 90 patients, where the following results were found: the female sex was the most frequent with 55.0%, compared to the male with 45.0%. The most frequent age range was 35 to 44 years old with 35.0%, followed by the age range of 45 to 55 years with 32.5%. The level of education was basic at 77.5%. 75.0% indicated that they work compared to 25.0%. 100.0% indicated that I do not study. The diagnosis was received in 1-5 years with 45.0%, less than 1 year 25.0%. The treatment was 1-5 years at 45.0%, less than 1 year at 22.5%. The CD4 count was normal at 25.0%, in recovery at 60.0%. The viral load was detectable in 32.5% and not detectable in 67.5%. There was use of antiretrovirals at 100.0%. 100.0% indicated to have adverse effects. 77.5% indicated never to miss an appointment, and 22.5% that is missing between 1 to 5 appointments. 85.5% said they have never forgotten the treatment, 10.0% between 1 to 5 times, from 6 to 10 times 2.5% and more than 10 times 2.5%. 87.5% indicated not having abandoned the treatment of 12.5% yes. Before the question to the people who abandoned the treatment, 100.0% expressed other causes. The toxic habits of the population were alcohol at 27.5% and tobacco in 2.5%. 77.5% expressed support for family members compared to 22.5% who do not. 95.0% indicated not having forgotten the medication. 92.5% expressed that it always takes it at the indicated time. 95.0% said that even if they feel bad, it does not stop taking the medication. 90.0% said they have not forgotten to take the medication during the weekend. 7.5% indicated that 3 days without taking the medication. As for therapy, 62.5% indicated the combination of antiretrovirals of Tenofovir, Emtricitabine + Dolutegrapin, 7.5% Tenofovir, Lamividin, Efavirenz and 7.5% not specific. In conclusion, most patients are adherents to treatment, however, those who do not and encourage that they continue in this behavior are needed.
