[English] Introduction: Due to the current SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) pandemic, it is important to link knowledge, attitudes and behaviors of the disease, since patients in primary care units (UNAP) are exposed and all the knowledge that can be offered is required. Objectives: The following research work aims at the level of knowledge, practice and attitudes about symptoms and spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in primary care patients (UNAP). Methods: For the development of the research, a questionnaire with 18 questions was used as an instrument for data collection, which are organized into three sections in which sociodemographic information, knowledge, attitude and practices of prevention and spread of COVID-19 were collected. The participants who were selected from a sample of 120 people who are older than 18 years, female and male. Subsequently, Microsoft Excel and Epi Info 6 programs were used to organize and tabulate the data found. Results: Regarding the knowledge of SARS Cov2 in primary care patients (UNAP). Most have medium knowledge, as 57% of those interviewed indicate this, which indicates that people's knowledge about this disease must be strengthened. Regarding the sample regarding the attitude towards preventing the contagion and spread of COVID-19 in primary care patients (UNAP). Almost half of these have a negative attitude to prevent contagion. Regarding the practices to prevent contagion in primary care patients (UNAP), 38% of those surveyed have inadequate practices to avoid contagion. Most of those surveyed say they would actively seek treatment in case of showing symptoms, on the other hand, they do not agree with having received official information about COVID-19 and did not trust or forward false or unverified information during the pandemic. In the same way, they preferred to stay at home and only go out if necessary.
