[English] Coronaviruses are viruses surrounded by a lipid layer, which makes them especially sensitive to disinfectants commonly used in the healthcare environment. Dental professionals are the "transmission agent" of COVID-19 since the work they carry out must be carried out in close proximity to patients. In addition, the tools that are used generate aerosols (small particles of water and oral fluids that spread through the air) which are spread on the equipment. For this reason, it is important to ensure proper cleaning and disinfection of surfaces and the environment to ensure the integrity of patients and work personnel. The objective of this research is to present the guidelines to follow, when applying cleaning and disinfection of dental clinics (or dental office) and to present the most effective disinfectants and products for the elimination of COVID-19. It is important to adopt all the necessary safety measures in the cleaning personnel before, during and after executing the activities leading to the cleaning and disinfection of sites potentially contaminated with the virus that produces the COVID-19 disease.
