[English] In dental consultations, endodontic treatments have become increasingly in demand. These procedures analyze the physiology and morphology of dental, coronal, and radicular structures, as well as dentin-pulp and apical area complications. The criteria for the shaping and obturation of canals have significantly increased the success of treatment in dental pieces that have achieved apical closure and still present conditions that could lead to endodontic retreatment. These treatments should aim to favor success and enhance the reparative potential. The objective of this study is to analyze the efficacy of endodontic treatments performed by students attending Clinics III, IV, and V at Universidad Iberoamericana during the 2022-2023 period. A quasiexperimental and cross-sectional study was conducted, evaluating 25 patients who met the inclusion criteria. Data collection was recorded in a spreadsheet designed with Microsoft Excel, allowing the storage of information associated with all the variables under study. Statistical analyses were carried out using Office Excel 2016 for Windows® and the statistical software SPSS IBM® version 24.0 for Windows 10®. The study also considered various demographic factors, such as age, gender, and medical history, to provide a comprehensive understanding of the outcomes. From the evaluated patients, it is concluded that the clinical results demonstrate that the endodontic treatments performed by students attending the dental clinic at UNIBE are successful, especially in women aged between 36 and 50 years. This success highlights the importance of comprehensive training in endodontic procedures for dental students and the potential for consistently high-quality patient care in educational settings worldwide.
