[English] Objective: To determine the impact of the interruption of periodontal treatment for the postgraduate periodontics and implants patients due to the temporary closure of the Universidad Iberoamericana Postgraduate Clinic (UNIBE). Method: 30 patients were selected from the UNIBE postgraduate clinic who were admitted and undergoing periodontal treatment in the period from January to March 2020 when the pandemic began. A 15-question survey was conducted based on previous studies on the impact of quarantine on dental appointments and the patient's anxiety levels about their treatment. The questionnaire was prepared on Google Docs and sent, together with an informed consent, to all patients via email or WhatsApp. Results: Most of the patients were able to partially continue with their hygiene instructions, they had trouble finding some necessary elements. A large part of the patients said they felt anxious about the quarantine and worried about the interruption and delay of their treatment, so most of the them answered that they had returned to the dental appointment after the quarantine. Conclusion: The quarantine recommended by COVID-19 had an impact on the temporary interruption of dental treatment and on the anxiety level of patients.
