Consideración de plan estratégico para el desarrollo del turismo sostenible en la Ciudad Colonial

Abstract

[Español] La Ciudad Colonial cuenta con recursos y productos turísticos con un gran potencial de desarrollo debido a los recursos y productos turísticos que posee para el desarrollo sostenible en la zona mencionada. Sin embargo, la misma carece de un plan estratégico de accionamiento que ayude a que este tipo de turismo a que se implemente, se comercialice y se lleve a cabo, para hacer de la Ciudad Colonial una ciudad sostenible sin tener que dejar a un lado aquellos aspectos del lujo que caracterizan a sus alojamientos y establecimientos. Dicha ciudad cuenta con alojamientos de lujo que incentivan el turismo de la zona, pero el propósito de este plan estratégico es lograr implementar un plan que haga que la Ciudad Colonial, alcance el balance y los beneficios necesarios para el desarrollo de la sostenibilidad en sus productos y servicios. El siguiente estudio sobre la propuesta a realizar, basado en un plan estratégico para el desarrollo del Turismo Sostenible de la Ciudad Colonial de Santo Domingo, consiste en fomentar un plan estratégico dónde se conllevan acciones para implementar estrategias, y tácticas necesarias enfocado en la práctica de la sostenibilidad y su comercialización tanto a nivel local como internacional. Dicha propuesta contribuye a la promoción de la Ciudad Colonial mostrando una imagen sostenible mientras se toma en cuenta el factor imprescindible sobre las acciones realizadas por los alojamientos y establecimientos de lujo encontrados. El lugar turístico seleccionado posee recursos turísticos y es considerado como Patrimonio de la Humanidad, debido a esto es fundamental la protección y el cuidado para continuar con todas sus características que le pertenecen. Considerando que, si se empieza por la zona más reconocida tanto nacional como internacional, el mismo tiene el potencial para llevar a cabo este tipo de turismo. Esta propuesta, busca implementar el desarrollo de una vida sostenible dentro de unos de los destinos turísticos más reconocidos de Santo Domingo. El estudio en sí tiene como objetivo, estudiar el conocimiento sobre el Turismo Sostenible, los alojamientos y establecimientos de lujo de la zona, su importancia y el comportamiento e intereses del público que visita la zona para así poder desarrollar la integración del plan estratégico del Turismo Sostenible en la Ciudad Colonial.

[English] The Colonial City has touristic resources and products with great development potential due to its characteristics for sustainable development. However, it lacks a strategic action plan that helps this type of tourism to be implemented, commercialized and developed, to make the Colonial City a sustainable city without having to put aside those aspects of luxury that characterize its accommodations and establishments. This city has luxury accommodations that encourage tourism in the area, but the purpose of this strategic plan is to implement a plan that makes the Colonial City achieve the necessary balance and benefits for the development of sustainability. The following study based on the proposal to be carried out, is to develop a strategic plan for the development of Sustainable Tourism for the Colonial City of Santo Domingo. This study consists of promoting a strategic plan where certain actions are implemented with both strategies, and necessary tactics focused on the practice of sustainability and its commercialization both locally and internationally. This proposal contributes to the promotion of the Colonial City by showing a sustainable image while taking into account the essential factor on the actions that have been done by the luxurious accommodations and establishments found. The selected touristic place has products and resources and is considered a World Heritage Site, and because of the lack of its protection and care, is essential to continue with all its characteristics that belong to it. Considering that if you start with the most recognized area, both nationally and internationally, it has the potential to integrate this type of tourism. This proposal seeks to implement the development of a sustainable life within one of the most recognized touristic destinations in Santo Domingo. The proposal itself, aims to study the knowledge and how conscious people are about Sustainable Tourism and the duality with luxurious accommodation and establishments in the area. It is important to take in consideration the behavior and interests of the audience that visits the area in order to develop the integration of the strategic plan of Sustainable Tourism in the Colonial City.
