Eficacia del ácido hialurónico inyectable para el tratamiento de papilas interdentales disminuidas

Abstract

[Español] Con el fin de reconstruir las papilas interdentales disminuidas con tratamientos no invasivos, el objetivo de nuestro estudio fue evaluar la eficacia del ácido hialurónico inyectable para el tratamiento de las papilas interdentales disminuidas. Se llevó a cabo un estudio de tipo experimental, descriptivo y de ensayo clínico, realizado a través de evaluaciones exploratorias y fotográficas. Se evaluaron un total de 30 personas, mayores de 18 años tomando en cuenta las papilas interdentales disminuidas y midiendo los triángulos negros, inyectando el ácido hialurónico divididas en 2 dosis, y reevaluando a los 4 meses. Los resultados obtenidos mostraron que hay eficacia estadísticamente significativa en la inyección del ácido hialurónico en papilas interdentales disminuidas, con valor p=0.000, los pacientes de más de 60 años, los de género masculino, de fenotipo gingival grueso y papilas interdentales del sector maxilar obtuvieron mejores resultados en la eliminación o reducción de los triángulos negros, pero no hubo diferencia estadísticamente significativa entre estos grupos de variables.

[English] To reconstruct diminished interdental papillae with non-invasive treatments, the aim of our study was to evaluate the efficacy of injectable hyaluronic acid for the treatment of diminished interdental papillae. An experimental, descriptive, and clinical trial study was carried out, obtained through exploratory and photographic evaluations. A total of 30 people, over 18 years of age, were evaluated considering the diminished interdental papillae and measuring the black triangles, injecting hyaluronic acid divided into two doses and reassessing after 4 months. The results obtained showed that there is statistically significant efficacy in the injection of hyaluronic acid in diminished interdental papillae, with a p=0.000 value, patients over 60 years of age, those of the male gender, with a thick gingival phenotype and interdental papillae in the maxillary sector obtained better results in removing or reducing black triangles, but there was no statistically significant difference between these groups of variables.
