Como se relaciona el consumo de pornografía con las conductas sexuales de riesgo

Abstract

[Español] El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar la correlación entre el consumo de pornografía y las conductas sexuales de riesgo, las cuales hacen referencia a las conductas sexuales repetidas, en las cuales se expone a la persona a circunstancias donde su salud y la de otro individuo se vea perjudicada. Para esta investigación se utilizó una muestra de 159 participantes, 78 mujeres y 74 hombres entre los 18 y 73 años realizaron una encuesta en línea para medir el consumo de pornografía con el instrumento Breve Filtro de Pornografía, como también las conductas sexuales de riesgo con el Cuestionario de Conducta Sexual de Riesgo. Los resultados señalan (1) no tener correlación dentro de las variables de consumo de pornografía y conductas sexuales de riesgo, sin embargo, (2) evidencia cómo los participantes masculinos obtuvieron un mayor consumo de pornografía y conductas sexuales de riesgo en comparación a las mujeres. Se concluye que no existe correlación entre las conductas sexuales de riesgo y el consumo de pornografía en este estudio, así como se evidencia una diferencia entre hombres y mujeres dentro de las variables muestreadas.

[English] Risky sexual behaviors refer to repeated sexual behaviors, where the person is exposed to circumstances where their health and that of another individual are harmed. The present study exposes the correlation between these behaviors and the consumption of pornography, where 159 participants (78 women and 74 men) from 18 to 73 years old carried out an online survey to measure the consumption of pornography with the Breve Filtro de Pornografia instrument, as well as risky sexual behaviors with the Cuestionario de Conducta Sexual de Riesgo. The results show no correlation between the variables of pornography consumption and risky sexual behaviors; however, male participants show a higher consumption of pornography and risky sexual behaviors. It is concluded that there is no correlation between sexual risk behaviors and pornography consumption, as well as a difference between men and women within the mentioned variables.
