Uso de coronas en el sector anterior para la restauración de dientes primarios

[Español] La caries en la primera infancia es muy común y frecuente en los dientes anteriores temporales. Actualmente existe una alta prevalencia de estos, lo que ha afectado en gran medida la salud bucal de la población infantil. Por lo tanto, la restauración ideal para los dientes anteriores temporales debe ser imperceptible, del mismo color dental y duradero. Las restauraciones de cobertura total han sido coronas. La corona con la mejor apariencia descrita por los diferentes autores es la Zirconia NuSmile ZR®. Estos demostraron tener una mejor estética y una buena funcionalidad, brindando seguridad al paciente y obteniendo una buena satisfacción y aprobación de los padres. El objetivo de este estudio es poder describir el uso de coronas en el sector anterior para la restauración de dientes primarios.

[English] Early childhood caries is very common and frequent in temporary anterior teeth. Currently there is a high prevalence of these, which has greatly affected the oral health of the child population. Therefore, the ideal restoration for temporary anterior teeth must be imperceptible, the same tooth color and durable. Full coverage restorations have been crowns. The crown with the best appearance described by the different authors is the Zirconia NuSmile ZR®. These proved to have better aesthetics and good functionality, providing the patient with security and obtaining good satisfaction and approval from the parents. The objective of this study is to be able to describe the use of crowns in the anterior sector for the restoration of primary teeth.
