Practiced since ancient times, however presenting a significant boom during the last decades, evolving the way of seeing medicine, due to the multiple benefits that represent both the patient and the recipient country. It is important to determine the level of knowledge of medical students in this field, so that, by means of the statistics obtained, make comparisons between the different higher education centers, and later detect if there are deficiencies in the understanding of this practice. Thus, strategies can be proposed to promote the training of the future personal physician in the provision of health services to these patients.
